Tired of filling your brows in with makeup everyday? Microblading can give you a very natural looking, well-shaped, fuller brow, no cosmetics needed!
So what is microblading? It’s a semi-permanent tattoo in the brow that is applied by hand (not a machine). Safe, plant-based pigments are deposited into the outer layer of skin with very small, individual, feathered strokes that perfectly mimic eyebrow hair. Effects typically last up to 12 months or longer, depending on your skin type and lifestyle.
|One Individual Session||$350|
|Two Session Package||$450 ($50 savings)|
There is a $50 consultation fee which can be applied toward your session.
How is microblading performed?
The microblading procedure is done using a hand tool, with a prepackaged, sterile, single use “blade” made up of a grouping of needles that are 3x smaller than the needles that would be used in a tattoo machine. With the appropriate amount of pressure, the skin is scored and the pigment is deposited into the epidermis (outermost layer of skin).
How long does the procedure take?
Your first microblading appointment will take between 60–90 minutes, as plenty of time will be taken to ensure that we have created the shape you desire before the procedure is performed. Your second microblading appointment (6-week touch up) will be between 30-60 minutes. We also require a 6-week perfecting session to darken any strokes as needed, and even out any minor imperfections that can come about during the healing process.
Does microblading hurt?
Each individual will experience the procedure differently. Some say it is actually relaxing and they only feel the pressure being applied. Others say it feels about as uncomfortable as tweezing. Still there are some who will feel that it is more uncomfortable. Two topical anesthetics are used to ensure your comfort during the procedure. One is applied 15 minutes prior to beginning, and the second is applied throughout the procedure.
Is the pigment used during the procedure safe?
Yes, the pigment used is organic, plant based, and MRI safe.
Who should not get microblading performed?
This procedure is not suitable for women who are pregnant or nursing, as well as anyone with a pacemaker or heart problems/conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, epilepsy, an organ transplant, a history of keloids or hypertrophic scarring, skin irritations or psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.), a cold or flu, or viral infections and/or other diseases. If you are undergoing chemotherapy, please first consult your doctor. If you are diabetic, your doctor’s clearance will be required. Microblading is also not suitable if you have received botox in the past 2 months, or taken accutane in the past year.
Can I have this procedure done if I have no brow hair at all?
Absolutely, microblading is a great option for those who suffer from alopecia, trichotillomania, or have been through chemotherapy. Microblading can even correct past wax catastrophe, over tweezing, or the normal hair thinning that occurs after menopause.
How do you choose the shape?
Whether you are looking for a whole new shape or simply to enhance the fullness of your natural brow, we will work together to create your new brows. The shape will first be applied with a cosmetic pencil so that you can see how it will look. We will not begin the procedure until you are happy with the shape.
Will my brows look fake?
No, not with the Brow Building method. Because individual strokes are made to closely mimic natural brow hair, most of the time the results are hardly distinguishable.
What is the recovery time like?
When you leave from your appointment your brow area may appear pink, and the pigment itself will seem darker than you may prefer. The day after your appointment few people would notice anything unusual. Throughout the healing process (1–2 weeks) your brows will slowly fade to a softer, more natural shade, but they will not be unpresentable. Please refrain from having microblading done before going on a beach vacation or a camping trip.
Will my brows fade?
Yes, because the pigments used in the service are natural, plant-based pigments, they are semi-permanent. But, unlike tattoo ink, they will fade true to color. As your brows fade, they will look soft and natural. And because the pigment is only placed in the outermost layer of skin, the pigment will not bleed outside of the exact place that it was deposited. This means no blurry, off-color brows. Factors such as sun exposure and certain skincare products and services can also speed up the fading process.
How often can I get touch-ups?
As often as you would like, as long as 3 weeks have passed since your last appointment. You most likely won’t want or need a touch-up until at least 6 months have passed. An annual touch-up is recommended to keep your brows looking optimal.
What if I don’t like my brows after this procedure?
Keep in mind that your brows will appear darker for the first couple of weeks than they will once they have healed. Once healed, we can fix any minor imperfections during your touch-up appointment. There is a removal process, and though there are no guarantees, it does generally give great results.
